Mario David was a French actor whose birth name was Jacques Paul Jules Marie David. He was born in Charleville-Mézières, France on 9th August 1927 and died in Paris, France on 29th April 1996, aged 68.

His best films as an actor include Claude Chabrol's Landru (1963), La Rupture (1970), Violette Nozière (1978), Jean-Jacques Annaud's Coup de tête (1979) and Serge Bromberg's L'Enfer d'Henri-Georges Clouzot (2009).
