Patrick Bruel is a French actor and singer whose birth name is Patrick Benguigui. He was born in Tlemcen, Algeria on 14th May 1959.

His best films as an actor include Ridha Behi's Champagne amer (1986), Georges Lautner's thriller La Maison assassinée (1988), Élie Chouraqui's O Jerusalem (2006), Claude Miller's Un secret (2007) and Alexandre de La Patellière's comedy Le Prénom (2012).
