Film Synopsis
Gabrielle, a pharmacist and single mother in her forties, has struggled to bring up her daughter Claire by herself. Claire is now 17 and is pregnant, but the father of her unborn child, Simon, refuses to accept the baby as his own. Desperation drives Gabrielle to take the matter up with Simon's father, Ange. A committed bachelor who has made a success of his career as an architect, Ange has never faced up to the responsibilities of fatherhood and does not see why he should do so now.
