Gad Elmaleh is a French-Moroccan actor and film director. He was born in Casablanca, Morocco on 19th April 1971.

His best films as an actor include Philippe Bérenger's comedy On fait comme on a dit (2000), Marco Carmel's Comme ton père (2007), Rose Bosch's La Rafle (2010), Costa-Gavras's thriller Le Capital (2012) and Michel Gondry's L'Écume des jours (2013).
