As a fierce war rages in the distance, a man arrives at a remote spot and
takes refuge in some ruins. It isn't only the war that the man is fleeing
from. He is also trying to escape from his past. Still the memory
of his wife haunts him, like a phantom determined to pluck him from this
world. The only thing he has to preoccupy him are his frequent visits
to his horse, the only other creature in the enclosure where he now lives.
It seems that nothing will ease the pain that constantly afflicts the man.
Things take an unexpected turn when a hunter suddenly shows up...
