Documentary

Film Synopsis

A portrait of several children from around the world who share the same thirst for knowledge.  Each of them realises that education is the only way by which they can improve their lives.  This is why, every day, they undertake a hazardous journey to acquire the knowledge they prize so highly.  First there is Jackson, 11, who lives in Kenya.  Each morning and each evening he and his little sister must cross fifteen kilometres of rough terrain inhabited by wild animals.  Then there is Samuel, 13, who lives in India and whose daily four kilometre journey is a challenge as he no longer has the use of his legs...
