Film Synopsis

Having just got engaged to be married, Thomas meets his future father-in-law, Gilbert, who has been married to Suzanne for thirty years.  Disillusioned with married life, Gilbert does his best to talk Thomas out of marrying his daughter.  They set out together like a couple of carefree adolescents, certain that freedom and happiness are to be found outside marriage...
