Film Synopsis
In 18th century Rome, Meo, the eldest child of a poor family, must replace his younger brother as a castrato, but he bribes the surgeon who is to perform the operation. His status as a supposed eunuch allows him to find his way into the bed of many a married woman. Then, one day, during a musical tour he encounters his former fiancée Teresa.
