Film Synopsis

An American serviceman on leave in Paris, Bob Wellington visits the Folies-Bergère one evening with his friends Jeff and Joe.  Here Bob meets Claudie, an attractve dancer and singer with whom he instantly falls in love.  Bob makes up his mind to stay in France, marry Claudie and work alongside her.  Bob's erratic behaviour leads him to be expelled from the music hall and he ends up on a miserable tour of the provinces.  By the time he finally gets back to Paris Claudie is fast becoming a star.  Bob's jealous nature asserts itself when he begins to suspect his wife of having an affair with the impresario Loiselet, who has procured for her several lucrative contracts in commercial cinema.  Out of spite, Bob sets out to seduce the star Suzy Morgan...
