Eva no duerme (2015)
Directed by Pablo Agüero

Drama
aka: Eva Doesn't Sleep

Film Synopsis

When Eva Peron died from cancer in 1952 she was only 33 years old.  An icon in her own life time, she was the most loved, and also the most hated, political figure in her home country of Argentina.  Hers was a beauty that could not be allowed to perish with her tragic demise, so the order was given that she should be embalmed.  Her body was preserved for posterity but successive military dictatorships in her country did all that was possible to efface all memory of her.  Eva Peron's remains became a tool of political power for a quarter of a century, and some would argue that she had more power and influence when she was dead than when she was alive...
