Film Synopsis
Lulu Natier is a talented dancer and singer who no longer has any illusions
about men. The last straw was her discovery that her latest lover,
Robert, is a married man who has no intention of leaving his wife.
Still, Robert was better than Edmond Petersen, who reckons he can buy her
way into her affections. The only man Lulu trusts now is Charles, her business
manager - mainly because he has no interest in women. This is not to
say that she is not impervious to the male sex - Alain Cartier makes a positive
impression on her, even though he is a thief. Lulu is on her way to
Cannes for a gig when she realises she is being tailed by Edmond and his
massive chequebook. To evade her unwanted suitor Lulu throws herself
at Kid Chavanne, a boxer who is about to go into the ring. The ensuing
bout of male aggression makes Lulu realise that Kid is not the man for her
so she resumes her journey for Cannes. Here she will face her final
showdown with Alain and Edmond...
