Michael Caine is an English actor whose birth name is Maurice Joseph Micklewhite. He was born in Rotherhithe, Bermondsey, London, England on 14th March 1933.

His best films as an actor include Sidney J. Furie's crime-thriller The Ipcress File (1965), Lewis Gilbert's Alfie (1966), Peter Collinson's comedy-thriller The Italian Job (1969), Mike Hodges's Get Carter (1971) and John Huston's The Man Who Would Be King (1975).
