Jean-Jacques Annaud is a French film director. He was born in Juvisy-sur-Orge, Essonne, France on 1st October 1943.

His best films as a film director include Coup de tête (1979), L'Ours (1988) and Or noir (2011), and whose best work as a screenwriter include Pierre Richard's comedy Je suis timide... mais je me soigne (1978), Wings of Courage (1995) and Or noir (2011).

Jean-Jacques Annaud has so far directed 13 films and scripted 10 films.
