Summary
Des Grieux, one of Europe’s top journalists, is spellbound by the
vision of a beautiful young woman at Tokyo airport. He can
hardly believe his good fortune when, arriving in Paris, the same
alluring woman, Manon, abandons her travelling companion and jumps
into a taxi with him. In no time, Des Grieux and Manon become
lovers. This is not something that pleases Manon’s wealthy
brother, who intends using all his resources to protect his sister from
such unsuitable admirers...
