Film Synopsis
Stéphanie is a 30-something transsexual who ekes out a living as a prostitute in the fleshpots of Paris. Mikhail is a Russian immigrant and former soldier who now works in a restaurant. Jamel is a young Frenchman of North African descent who gets by as a hustler. Despite their different backgrounds, the three friends could not be closer and they are bound together by a love that is as strong as any other. One day, Stéphanie learns that her estranged mother has a terminal illness. Without delay, she returns to her home in the country, accompanied by Mikhail and Jamel. The homecoming proves to be an intense and traumatic experience, and Stéphanie is compelled to revisit her tragic past...© James Travers
