Film Synopsis

Giovanni was leading a successful career as a banker before he suddenly made up his mind to devote the rest of his life to wine.  In next to no time, he acquired a reputation as a wine taster and wine expert of the first calibre, and he was never happier than he is now.  Then, one day, his wife Adèle is found dead.  All the evidence is against Giovanni and he is soon arrested for his wife's murder.  In the course of the criminal investigation his original motive for wanting to become a wine expert becomes apparent.  To ensure his success, Giovanni was apparently willing to do almost anything.  Now the chickens have come home to roost, with the worst possible of hangovers...
