Directed by Richard C. Sarafian

Action / Crime / Thriller

Film Synopsis

Kowalski is a speed junkie who gladly accepts the challenge of a journey by car from Denver to San Francisco - a distance of almost a thousand miles - in less than fifteen hours.  As he sets out in his Dodge Challenger V8, Kowalski is confident of winning his bet, but it isn't long before the police are on his tail as he surges down the highway in three states - Colorado, Utah and Nevada.  In the course of his madcap journey, memories come back to him in quick succession.  He calls his painful years as a combatant in Vietnam, his work as a stuntman, and then his time with the police service, when he ran into trouble with his superiors after coming to the aid of a young drug addict.  Is Kowalski's thirst for speed fuelled by the desire to escape from his past?  If so, will he be able to outrun his memories...?
