Film Synopsis

Johnny has decided to make good use of the 36 hours' leave he has from prison.  His plan is to find the person who betrayed him to the authorities and kill him.  To that end, he hires a taxi and strikes up a friendship with the driver, Michel.  When he realises he can't go through with his plan, Johnny asks Michel to help him.  Michel naturally refuses and Johnny reacts by beating him up.  It is the start of a beautiful friendship...
