Film Synopsis

Since his childhood, Abdoulaye Faye has thought of nothing but becoming a boxer.  Now, determined to make his dream a reality, he leaves his home in Senegal and sets out for France.  Arriving in Paris, he finds a place to stay and gets work in a factory.  Despite the dismal climate and unfriendliness of those he meets, Abdoulaye falls in love with his new country and remains optimistic that one day he will realise his dream...
