A film in three parts.  (1) Zora:  In the late 1800s, Antoine marries a fairground girl, Zora, much to the horror of his parents.  (2) Coralie ou l'héritage: Lesable marries Coralie Cachelin, on the expectation that they will inherit a fortune providing they produce an heir within two years.  (3) Mouche:  Five friends all claim paternity of a young woman.
