Biography: life and films

René Lefèvre (real name: René Paul Louis Lefèvre) was a French film actor and screenwriter. He was born in Nice, France on 6 March 1898 and died in Poissy, France on 23 May 1991. A popular film and stage actor of the 1930s, he found fame through his lead role in René Clair's Le Million (1931).
