Film Synopsis
A flashy forty-something, Dodo has no difficulty attracting the
ladies. But all he wants is the quiet life, lazing in the sun or
strolling in a carefree state of mind in the Florida sea town where he
lives with his American wife. Tired of the constraints of married
life, he leaves his wife and lives quite contentedly off the spouses of
others. He is a natural parasite. One day, he strikes up a
friendship with a gypsy violinist, Jésus, who settled in the
area after a lucky inheritance. A dramatic incident compels Dodo
to seek American citizenship, but how can he become a real American
when all he wants to do is laze around all day?
