Film Synopsis

Eric, a cellist, lives in Prague with his wife Anna.  When his marriage fails, he decides to return to Paris, where his path repeatedly crosses that of Catherine, a shy young singer who is desperately trying to establish herself.  They spend the next few years side-by-side without even noticing each other.  Eventually, they realise that they could not be better suited for one another...
