Film Synopsis

A film in three parts, inspired by and filmed in the Japanese metropolis of Tokyo.  Interior Design (Michel Gondry):  A young couple try to settle in Tokyo.  He has a clear objective, to become a filmmaker.  She is unsure what she wants and soon loses control of her life.  Merde (Leos Carax):  A vile goblin creature spreads death and panic in the streets of Tokyo.  This sewer monster is finally captured by the army and revealed to be a representative of a lost civilisation.  Shaking Tokyo (Bong Joon-ho):  For more than ten years, a young man has lived as a total recluse in his apartment.  When a pizza delivery girl faints on his doorstep during an earthquake he falls in love.  He resumes his reclusive life with her as his sole companion.
