Film Synopsis

The head doctor in the Congolese bush, Dr Leonard, struggles to put an end to the trafficking of adulterated alcohol which is causing a severe outbreak of sleeping sickness amongst the locals.  He suspects that Martinez, a Portuguese man who is the only one to understand the language of the Tam-Tams, is the head of a clandestine network.  To confirm this theory, he sets out to join his assistant, Alessandrini, who is hiding out in the same village as the supposed crook...
