Film Synopsis

Paris, 1793.  At the height of the French Revolution, deputy Delaunay succumbs to the charms of the beautiful Countess Beaulieu.  The latter believes that her husband, recently guillotined, had been having an affair with a young woman named Agnès.  Once it has been established that the Count's interest in Agnès was simply a ruse to save Queen Marie-Antoinette, Delaunay helps the young women to escape.
