Film Synopsis

Antonin, a dogsbody in a luxurious hotel, cannot believe his good fortune when he wins seven million francs on the lottery.  Instantly, he finds he has become the centre of attention.  His employer advances him the money he needs to buy some fine clothes and puts him into his most sumptuous apartment.  The Baron de la Tour teaches him good manners and his employer's wife intends that he should marry his daughter.  When the newspapers announce that Antonin does not know who is father is, three individuals promptly turn up to claim him as their son.  Then, one morning, Antonin notices that his winning lottery ticket has been stolen...
