Film Synopsis

When his mistress Hermeline is dismissed because she is pregnant, the entertainer Renart breaks his contract with his employer.  The couple take refuge in a house in the country.  Having met up with some old friends in the area, Renart decides to rent a disused factory and use this as a venue for shows.  His plans are jeopardised when his past begins to catch up with him, in the form of several old lovers.  When Renart asks one of his mistresses to take to the stage the show ends up being a disaster...
