Film Synopsis

Lola is a successful lawyer who is used to winning her cases without any difficulty.  She in unsure how she will cope when, one day, she is diagnosed with breast cancer.  Things turn out to be far less dreadful than she had imagined, as she is treated with immense skill and care by the great Professor Tobman.  Lola joins a club that comprises women in the same predicament as her.  There is Cathy, a lively 30-something with whom Lola strikes up an immediate friendship; there is Marie-Aude, an older woman, a bourgoise, the wife of a diplomat; there is Maryvonne, a well-known television announcer; and there is Marielle, a young student, the most anxious and rebellious member of the group.  Gradually, Lola learns to accept her illness and discovers a whole new world.  By taking a positive attitude, she finds she can once again lead a normal life...
