Film Synopsis

A young painter lives in Provence with his childhood friend, whom he refers to as Rose de Nice.  Summoned to Paris, he becomes the plaything of a coquette, an inconstant woman he might have killed had it not been for the intervention of his father.  He return to his home town and finds the happiness he seeks near to his beloved Rose.
