Film Synopsis
Twenty years after the film 'Paris vu par...' was made at the height of the French New Wave, six of today's auteur filmmakers repeat the adventure, each offering a short film set in the City of Lights. In 'J'ai faim, j'ai froid', two adolescents arrive in Paris from the provinces, but their illusions are soon shattered as they find the capital to be a cold, lonely place. In 'Place Clichy', a teenager named Fabien lives with an older woman, writing for her a poem which ends up being broadcast by her other lover. In 'Rue Fontaine', René is invited by his friend Louis to attend a dinner party with his girlfriend Génie. René accepts but soon falls under Génie's spell...© James Travers
