An unscrupulous journalist has succeeded in proving the innocence of a man named Bianchi, who was charged with murdering his wife by pushing her down the stairs.  He then persuades a producer to make a film about the incident, with Bianchi playing himself.  During the filming, it is revealed that Bianchi's wife had a lover...
