Film Synopsis
In the 19th century, Captain Henry is leading a convoy of fur traders across the most barren of landscapes in North America, their destination: Missouri. Zachary Bass, the only man to know the region well, is lending his services as a guide. A hunting expedition results in Zachary being attacked by a grizzly bear. Henry is unwilling to hold up the convoy, so he orders two of his men to stay behind and attend to the injured Zachary. Far from saving the wounded man, these two decide to abandon him, through fear that they will be attacked by Indians at any moment. Miraculously, Zachary survives his injuries, and once he has regained his strength, he sets out to find the men who betrayed him and left him for dead...© James Travers
