Ma place au soleil (2007)
Directed by Eric de Montalier

Drama
aka: My Place in the Sun

Film Synopsis

Things never turn as you would like.  We all start out with adolescent dreams of a life of wine and roses, but that inevitably crumbles to dust as the experience of heartbreaks and other set-backs take their toll.  Three couples and a single man have come to see the truth of this.  All have come to regret taking the wrong paths in their lives and now they struggle to get through a period of uncertainty as they contemplate their future.  Just how are they to find the happiness, in their professional and private lives, that has eluded them so far?  Does it even exist?  Surely everyone has a right to his or her place in the sun, even if it is just for five minutes.  But what if the sun refuses to shine?  What if the sun itself is an illusion...?
