Film Synopsis
After growing tired of her uneventful life in the country, Marinette leaves
her husband Mario and heads off for the bright lights of Paris, determined
to make a name for herself as a dancer. Mario has no intention of letting
her go, so without a moment's delay he sets off in pursuit in his van, along
with his baby and his precious cow Noéllie. Mario has his work
cut out as he sets about scouring all of the music halls and nightclubs of
the city. Finally, he sees his wife's name on a notice and manages
to run her to ground. By now, Marinette has had a dramatic change of
heart. Dancing no longer appeals to her and she wants only to return
to her old life in the country. She comes to her senses just in time,
because Mario's attentions have just been grabbed by a ravishing call girl
who is, like Marinette, keen to start a new life...
