Film Synopsis
Jeanne Rivière, 35, has been divorced for seven years and has,
in that time, brought up her daughter Sarah singlehandedly.
Mother and daughter have a harmonious relationship, but now that she is
16 Sarah's craving for independence threatens their peaceful home life
and their mutual trust. Although Jeanne has found a new
boyfriend, Pierre, she is still prey to feelings of loneliness and
insecurity. Meanwhile, Sarah has grown to hate school and resents
her mother's hold over her; all she wants is to live her own
life...
