Film Synopsis

Lou is a creative 12-year-old daydreamer who lives alone with her mother Emma.  The latter has put her own emotional life on the backburner so that she can devote herself to her daughter.  It is a cosy life they have together, but it has its downside.  Emma feels her life is at a standstill and fears she is heading towards depression, whilst Lou is becoming obsessed with Tristan, the little boy who lives next-door.  The bubble in which they live is ready to burst when Emma rekindles her love life and Lou crosses the threshold into adolescence...
