Film Synopsis

Shad and Otho are two friends, both in their late twenties, who dream of making their fortunes in Europe and returning home as heroes.  So, confident of success, they leave their hometown of Abidjan on the Ivory Coast and set off in search of wealth and glory.  They get as far as Spain, where Shad peddles drugs whilst his friend drives an unlicensed taxi.  Their great ambitions are frustrated when they are picked up by the police.  Otho is sent back home without so much as a bean, and receives a far from rapturous welcome from his family.  Shad is more fortune.  He manages to evade his police pursuers and succeeds in getting to London.  Here, in a supermarket, he strikes up an instant rapport with a white-skinned beauty, Tango, who shares his crazy ambitions.  If they are to realise their dreams, Shad and his new lover have many challenges to overcome, and it is far from certain that they will succeed...
