Film Synopsis

On the evening of the premiere of his latest stage play, Germain returns to the calm of his suburban residence to enjoy the company of his charming wife Rika and devoted secretary Josette.  There are also his two close friends - Robert, an old comrade-in-arms, and Louis, a literary collaborator.  Just as Germain reaches the steps of his house, a chimney falls down and nearly kills him...
