Film Synopsis

A nobleman who was sentenced to death for treason during the war bequeaths his fortune to the officers in his former regiment.  What at first seems to be a sublime act of generosity turns out to be a fiendish plot intended to bring hatred and death to the dead man's enemies.  When several murders have been committed, suspicion falls on the officers who are still alive...
