Film Synopsis

Max Angély has been in the catering business for thirty years, and in that time he has become a master of his profession, guaranteed to bring lustre to any special occasion with his flair for organisation.  For the wedding party of Pierre and Hélèna, he has his greatest challenge yet.  The venue is a magnificent 17th century chateau, and the guest-list is of heart-stopping proportions.  It is an occasion that will test Max's skill and endurance to the limit, but he rises to the occasion with a relish. A veritable army of cooks, waiters and dishwashers is assembled, and these he directs with the confident elan of a world-class orchestra conductor.

No detail gets overlooked.  Max oversees the floral arrangements, books the musicians and gives careful instructions to the photographer, straining every sinew and nerve in his body to ensure that the event comes off without the slightest hitch.  But there are some things that not even Max can foresee, and it is these seemingly inconsequential omissions that are about to wreak untold havoc on our hero's well-laid plans.  In spite of all of Max's meticulous preparations, Pierre and Hélèna's wedding party looks as if it may be a memorable occasion, but for all the wrong reasons.  Can Max save the day or is this destined to be his humiliating Waterloo...?
