Film Synopsis

Prince Grégoire of Sylvanie has a violent falling out with Prince Jean, who declines his coronation in favour of his love for Thérèse de Mégée.  He has the prince kidnapped but has a change of heart when he sees Jean's suffering.  Unfortunately, Thérèse's daughter, who is herself about to get married, is tainted by the scandal and Thérèse has no choice but to renounce her love.
