Film Synopsis
Pierre and Aimée have been the best of friends with Eric and Pénélope
for years. Both couples are perfectly settled and they make the most
amiable of foursomes - until the dreadful day when Pierre and Pénélope
realises they have fallen in love with each other! Realising that they
cannot keep their affair a secret from their respective spouses any longer
they decide to end the relationship. Before doing so, they agree to
share one night of passion together, the hope being to extinguish the fires
of desire once and for all.
The next morning, Pierre and Pénélope wake up and discover,
to their total amazement, that they have exchanged bodies. Pierre now
finds himself in Pénélope's body, and vice versa. The
only course of action open to the lovers is to accept the situation and live
the life of the other as if nothing has happened. This is not quite
as easy as its sounds. Pierre, as Pénélope, is now partnered
with Eric, and Pénélope, visible to the world as Pierre, is
now hooked up with Aimée. Life was complicated enough before
this body swap fiasco. Now things are going to get a hell of a lot
worse...
