Film Synopsis
Between February and July 1858, the virgin mother appeared to a small girl on eighteen occasions in the Grotto of Massabielle. That girl was Bernadette Soubirous, one of the poor folk of Lourdes. Through her miraculous encounters, she would bring about something of a revolution, shaking the established order of Second Empire France with her message of universal love and prayer.© James Travers
