Film Synopsis

Fred, a former engineer, has fallen on hard times.  He is living rough when, one day, the glance of a little girl awakens within him his self-respect.  He abandons his squat and immediately returns to Brittany to take possession of an old house he has inherited from his grandfather.  But the old house is a dilapidated ruin on the edge of a quarry, lost in a vast isolated landscape.  Undeterred, Fred sets about rebuilding the house and, in doing so, finds he is rebuilding his whole life...
