Indignados (2012)
Directed by Tony Gatlif

Documentary

Film Synopsis

Illegal immigration is something we hear about every day in the news.  But what lies behind the scare stories and the dry statistics?  In this documentary, director Tony Gatlif shows us what it means to be an illegal immigrant.  Through the eyes of a young woman, we see what it is like to be driven from your own country by the primal impulse to stay alive and then have to come up against a system that fails to recognise your most basic human needs and individual circumstances.
