Himalaya, le chemin du ciel (2009)
Directed by Marianne Chaud

Documentary

Film Synopsis

In a lost valley, high up in the Himalayas, there is a monastery that is home to a thriving community of Buddist monks.  They live a simple life that has not changed for hundreds of years.  In this arresting documentary, Marianne Chaud takes us into the heart of this isolated community, focussing on the children who live here, knowing nothing of the comforts and distractions that their counterparts in the West take for granted.
