Film Synopsis

An Italian dancer, Rosine Savelli is a fervent patriot.  Consequently, she falls foul of a band of conspirators who intend to use her in an attempt on the life of the emperor Napoléon III.  The conspiracy fails and the emperor, having fallen in love with the young dancer, is convinced of her innocence.
