Film Synopsis

In a cluttered room in a decrepit old château, a decrepit old man sits writing in his diary.  The man, Jean-René, receives a letter that informs him he has only a very short time left to live.  That evening, he leads his faithful gardener, Pipo, into his room and breaks the sad news to him.  Bizarrely, Jean-René declares that he will invite a theatre company to his home to perform a play about the myth of Dionysis...
