Don Giovanni (1979)
Directed by Joseph Losey

Drama / Music

Film Synopsis

In defiance of the Almighty, Don Giovanni sets out to seduce every woman he encounters.  In a duel, he kills Il Commendatore, the father of one of the women he has tried and failed to seduce, Donna Anna.  The next thing he knows, Don Giovanni is being pursued by Donna Elvira, a woman he once seduced and abandoned, and Don Ottavio, the fiancée of the vindictive Donna Anna.  The hated womaniser ends up at the graveyard where Il Commendatore is buried.  As Don Giovanni jokes with his servant, the statue of the dead man comes to life, an emissary from Hell itself...
